Case Study Writers

Win more business with customer case studies

Are you leaving money on the table? Most businesses are.

Yet your happy customers are some of your biggest fans. Their stories around your product or service can go a long way to helping you land more business - not only from new customers but existing ones too.

And that’s where case studies come in. They are extremely powerful. In fact, they’re one of the most powerful B2B marketing assets available to you.

Why case studies are important to your business

It’s all about genuine third-party endorsement. The kind where your customer can provide context to the business issues others are facing – and the transformation that your product or service has brought to their business. You don’t have to say a word. The case study does the hard work for you.

The benefits include:

1. Credibility Boost: Social proof lends credibility to your technology or software. It demonstrates real-life evidence that it has been successfully implemented and valued by other respected businesses.

2. Trust Building: Prospective customers are more likely to trust an unbiased source. A positive endorsement from a third party can reduce perceived risk, making potential customers more comfortable with the decision to invest in your product.

3. Relatability: By detailing actual scenarios, third-party case studies paint a picture of how your technology or software solves real-world problems. This relatability can be very persuasive in showing prospects how your tech can be applied to their own business issues.

4. Highlight Benefits: Third-party narratives can clearly show the benefits of your technology in a way that resonates with potential customers, by focusing on measurable outcomes like increased efficiency, cost savings, or improved performance.

5. Differentiation: Genuine endorsements can differentiate your product from competitors by showcasing unique success stories that may not be replicable with other technologies.

6. SEO and Content Marketing: Well-written case studies can be an excellent tool for content marketing and can help improve SEO if they are shared online and generate traffic.

7. Sales Enablement: Sales teams can use these case studies during their sales process to address concerns, showcase success, and handle objections.

8. Leverage Influence: If the third party is influential in their sector, their endorsement can sway others within the industry due to the halo effect.

Case studies are similar to reviews or referrals. They help buyers make decisions. Think about your own buying behaviour - we all find ourselves looking for people like us or businesses like ours to see how they've resolved the same problems that we face. And that's why case studies are so valuable.

Hiring a case study writer. Why us?

With more than 25 years of experience in marketing and copywriting, we know what works. And because we’re specialists in IT and software it means less time explaining your product or service. All you need to do is provide some general background to the case study and introduce us to the customers. From that point on, we'll take care of the whole project from start to finish.

We'll contact your customer and arrange a convenient time for the interview. Our tried-and-tested process and ability to ask incisive questions means we're able to tease out the information required to create an impactful case study, while also being sensitive to what your customer feels comfortable sharing. Once drafted, the copy will be sent to both of you for amends and sign-off. Then all you'll need to do is reap the benefits of your new case study!

Case Study FAQs

I'm not sure how to approach this with my customer. Can you help?

Yes. We can provide an email template or you could pick up the phone to them. It's a great way to reconnect with your customer, particularly if you've not spoken to them in a while. A case study is a perfect opportunity for them to showcase their story and success. It acts as free publicity for their brand and business as a whole (not to mention personal kudos for solving an issue that other businesses are facing). It's a win-win.

What is the process to get started?

Once you’ve paid for a package, you’ll get a link to our calendar to schedule the one-hour discovery call. We’ll also brief you on what to expect so you're prepared for our conversation.

How soon can I book?

That will depend on availability. We can’t reserve space for your project until we receive both your payment and a signed copywriting agreement and statement of work.

Do you offer discounts?

If you commit to 12+ case studies within 12 months then we can discuss this with you.

How do the interviews take place?

Over Zoom or Google Meet.

What if the case study requires more than two rounds of edits?

Given our years of experience, case studies are usually more than 90% there on the first draft. They often require no more than a single round of minor revisions. That being said, we’re not going to quibble about small tweaks here and there if feedback is given within 14 days of the first draft. Rewrites, on the other hand, will require a separate quote.

Can you conduct multiple interviews for our case study?

Yes. Additional interviews are £100 each. Let us know upfront so we can include this in the project pricing and allocate time in our schedule.

Why can’t we just write case studies ourselves?

A professional case study writer will free up your time and that of your marketing team. Case studies require a lot of work and effort. We have a tried-and-tested process and the interview skills to get the best from customers, plus we’re fast and efficient at what we do so you can rest assured that your project is in good hands.

How much time do I have to invest?

There is the one-hour discovery call, introduction to the customer, and some time to read and approve the case study. It’s the same for your customer (less the introduction of course)! We take care of everything else: drafting customised interview questions, carrying out the interview, crafting the case study and then editing and proofing the final piece. We manage the whole revision and sign-off process.

I already have the details. Do we have to involve my customers?

Yes. A robust case study needs to come from your customers. It’s far more believable to hear the story through their words. When we carry out interviews it helps to paint a vivid picture of the benefit and positive impact the customer has experienced. That genuine personal story shapes the narrative and helps more than you can imagine.

Can you provide design services for our case study?

Yes. We have access to experienced designers who can provide you with a polished final case study that you can use immediately! This is an extra service to the copywriting package so please let us know if you’re interested.
